General Description

The cutter suction dredger is a kind of excavating system which is widely used in underwater desilting and dredging projects. It uses the rotary cutter head in the front of the suction pipe to cut and stir the solids in the river bottom. in this process, the slurry concentration will reach a satisfactory ratio while the powerful pump could suck and discharge the slurry to designated location via discharge pipe. The series of cutting, suction, transporting and discharging actions could be finished continuously one time, which makes the cutter suction dredger a highly efficient, excellent terrain adaptability desilting and dredging equipment with easy maintenance and low operating cost. It' s the first choice of most customers who are involved in desilting and dredging business.

Structure Features
  1. The dredger adopts a detachable cabin structure, which is convenient for disassembly and assembly operations.
  2. The hull is divided into multiple functional areas such as power cabin, auxiliary cabin, and buoyancy cabin. The upper part of the ship is equipped with auxiliary facilities such as horizontal displacement device, reamer head lifting device, driver’s cabin, and employee rest room. Each functional area is relatively independent, well connected to each other, and easy to maintain.
The dredging pump is driven by the main diesel engine and placed in the power plant, while the auxiliary engine (generator) provides power for the winch, positioning pile, and lighting system.
  3. The dredging medium is sucked in through the reamer head and discharged sequentially through the dredging pump, reamer arm, and discharge pipe.
  4. The entire conveying system and power device are arranged in a streamlined manner to minimize the resistance of the medium during the conveying process.
  5. According to the different placement positions of dredging pumps, cutter suction dredgers can be divided into inboard pump and outboard pump.
  1. Inboard pump dredger

Inboard pump dredger is the most common cutter suction dredger. Its structure is relatively simple. Dredging pumps and power with different power can be configured according to different dredging depth and discharge distance. It is the best choice for dredging in shallow water. It is suitable for river dredging, pond dredging, lake dredging, sand mining and other small projects.

  1. Outboard pump dredger

Outboard pump dredger refers to the dredge pump installed on the frame bridge. It is closer to sludge than the inboard pump CSD, so it can be applied to higher sludge concentration (max. 35%) and depth (15~30m). It is applicable to large-scale dredging projects such as deep water and shallow sea.

Features

  1. Modular design and production, short delivery time, and competitive cost.
  2. Pre-assembly and thorough testing before ex-work.
  3. Compartmentalized structure facilitates long-distance transportation and on-site assembly.
  4. The dredging pump is driven by an integrated bearing box, clutch, and gear case, allowing for quick and easy assembly and disassembly.
  5. The movement and lifting mechanism of the cutter head are flexible, making operation and maintenance convenient.
  6. Anchoring equipment can be configured according to the working conditions, facilitating stable on-site operations.
  7. A wide range of services and optional equipment are provided, including service vessels, relay pump stations, and pipelines.
  8. More cost-effective spare parts inventory management plan.
  9. Proactive and responsive service.
