During underwater dredging construction, the presence of rocks, hard soil, or other hard materials may be encountered. Underwater high-frequency crushing hammers can be used to crush and crush these hard materials for subsequent dredging operations.

General Description
The underwater high-frequency crushing hammer has changed the crushing principle of using piston impact hammers. Compared with piston crushing hammers, it effectively avoids damage to the hydraulic system of excavators caused by black oil or metal debris, and effectively avoids damage to the large and small arms of excavators caused by the hammer body itself through a reasonable mechanical structure. The emergence of high-frequency crushing hammers has filled the construction field of piston crushing hammers and effectively increased production.
Working principle
High frequency crushing hammer is a hydraulic motor that transmits hydraulic energy from an excavator to drive the eccentric gears in the vibration box to rotate, resulting in centrifugal force F. Its vertical component is a periodic interference force that causes the shaft to produce radial forced vibration pressure, known as excitation force. The vibration is then transmitted to the bucket teeth by the box of the vibration exciter for crushing operations. The high-frequency crushing hammer has changed the principle of using piston impact crushing, a new type of excavator accessory product driven by a motor that utilizes centrifugal force to generate destructive force through reciprocating motion up and down. A physical crushing equipment that integrates mechanical hydraulic mechanics, digital signals, and digital monitoring. The teeth of the high-frequency crushing hammer impact the object (target crushing object) under the action of the exciter, thereby achieving crushing.
Main features
Underwater high-frequency crushing hammers can provide efficient, accurate, and controllable crushing operations in dredging engineering, helping to remove obstacles, crush hard materials, and create favorable conditions for subsequent dredging and construction work. It plays an important role in improving work efficiency, reducing manual workload, and reducing costs.

Classification of rock hardness level
Hardness level | Qualitative identification | Representative rock | Saturated uniaxial compressive strength Rc/MPa |
Quite-hard rock | Giving crisp sound when hammering, rebounding, difficult to crush during vibration leveling, basically non-water-absorbent. | Un-weathered or slightly weathered granite, diorite, diabase, andesite, gneiss, quartzite, quartz sandstone, siliceous conglomerate, and siliceous limestone etc. | Rc>60 |
Hard rock | Giving crisp sound when hammering, showing slight rebounding, slight vibration leveling, difficult to be crushed, slightly-water-absorbent. | 1, Slightly – weathered hard rock;
2, Un-weathered, slightly – weathered marble, slate, limestone, dolomite, and calcareous sandstone etc. |
30< Rc≤60 |
Soft rock | No crisp sound when hammering, no rebounding, easier to be crushed, showing trace when scratched by nails after being soaked in water. | 1, Medium-/strongly – weathered hard rock or quite-hard rock;
2, Un-weathered-/slightly- weathered tuff, Chigimon rock and sandy mudstone etc. |
15 <Rc≤30 |
Quite-soft rock | Dumb when hammering, not rebounding, indentation when hammering, can be easily crushed when hammering, can be split apart with hammer after soaking in water. | 1, Strongly – weathered hard rock or quite-hard rock; 2, Medium-/strongly – weathered soft rock; 3, Un-weathered/slightly – weathered shale, mudstone, argillaceous sandstone etc. |
5<Rc≤15 |
Very soft rock | Dumb when hammering, not rebounding, deep indentation when hammering, can be crushed with hands, can be pinched to a block after soaking in water. | 1. Various completely-weathered rocks; 2. Various hypabyssal rocks |
Rc≤5 |
